Founded in 2010, Green Pest Guys is a local, family-owned pest control company that serves Cedar Park, Dallas-McKinney, Spring, and the surrounding areas. We serve both residential and commercial properties with pest control solutions that are efficient, safe, eco-friendly, and humane.
Our Founder and Inspiration
Green Pest Guys was founded by Greg and his wife Angie. The steady and rapid growth we’ve seen in the ensuing years is due to Greg’s dedication, commitment to quality, and belief in customer service.
Sadly, Greg passed suddenly in June of 2020. He leaves behind Angie, their three daughters and today he would be a grandfather. He loved his family, and he believed in serving his community. Before going to college at the University of Arizona, Greg did two years of missionary work in Brazil for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He lived the values of service all of his life. His community outreach included being a part of the Prosper Rotary Club and the Prosper Education Foundation. Just a week before his passing, he had been invited to be a business and marketing professor at Texas Women’s University.
Greg set a high standard for us all of his life. He taught us that we are, first and foremost, a customer service company that happens to do pest control, not a pest control company that sometimes does customer service. It’s about people. It’s about you. Now, for us, it’s also about honoring Greg, his family, and his legacy.

Mark Mahana and his wife, Elizabeth, helped establish the company in 2010 because of their deep commitment to the community and a desire to provide a comprehensive, eco-friendly service that would benefit families and businesses alike.
Green Pest Guys is an exceptional pest control service with knowledgeable and trustworthy technicians who are trained to eradicate pests effectively as well as being environmentally friendly. Green Pest Guys developed a unique business style dedicated to personal, friendly, and honest service. Service is customized to fit the individual needs of each business or home served.
Mark, an Eagle Scout, believes in and lives the Boy Scout values. Mark and Elizabeth have been happily married for 30 years, have five children, and enjoy spending quality time with their two grandsons.
Our Austin Branch Manager
In 1990, Mark entered the U.S. Navy and was fortunate to qualify as a U.S. Navy SEAL. His tenure with the SEALs ended in 2002 and left a lasting impression.
In addition, Mark wrote several exercise books based on our nation’s elite military exercises. Soon after, Mark began working with high school and college athletes. In addition, Mark has worked in the corporate tech world for many years.
Tired of helping build startups for others, Mark and Wendy decided to create their own start up with Green Pest Guys. As a veteran, Mark and Wendy take great pride in the quality of their work and the satisfaction of our customers.
Mark & Wendy have been married for over 25 years. They are now empty nesters, but life is still very busy running their business. They have 6 children, and 17 grandchildren so far. When they get a chance to get away , they love spending time with family.
